Also, since it appears the plastic surgeon feels it will impact her bones and tendons, I would encourage you to try and get in to see a pediatric orthopedic surgeon. Then you might feel more comfortable with there assessment since those docs deal solely with orthopedic issues. Good luck, and remember to give yourself credit for asking--something made you do it.
